Academic Requirements

To be considered competitive for undergraduate admission to ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ, we recommend students successfully complete (with a GPA of 2.5) , or be in the process of completing, the following curriculum or its equivalent.  Students who apply without this curriculum will undergo a review process.

• 4 credits of English
  Including: English I, II, III and IV
  
• 3-4 credits of Math
  Including: algebra I and II, geometry and advanced math courses such as pre-calculus, calculus and statistics
• 3-4 credits of Science
  Including: biology, chemistry and two advanced sciences such as physics, environmental science, anatomy and physiology; integrated physics and chemistry (IPC) is acceptable if taken between biology and chemistry
• 2-3 credits of Social Studies
  Including: world/human geography or world history, U.S. history since 1877, U.S. government (half credit) and economics (half credit)
• 2 credits of Foreign Language
  Recommended that these be in the same language but can be in different language

¾«¶«Ó°Òµ is TEST-OPTIONAL - SAT/ACT scores are not considered for admission, but you are welcome to submit them if you have them.

Deferred Admission Program

Students who do not meet the 2.5 grade point average requirement will be considered for our Deferred Admission Pathway Program with ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ and our transfer college partners.

A GPA below ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ's admission threshold isn't the end of the road — it's a one-semester detour with a clear way back. The Deferred Admission Pathway Program (DAP) gives students the chance to demonstrate their readiness for college-level coursework at an accredited community college or university before joining ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ as a transfer student. ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ considers one successful, full-time semester adequate evidence that a student is ready to succeed here.

Completing the DAP does more than open the door to ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ. It also:

• Introduces students to the demands of college-level study
• Builds the study skills that support long-term academic success
• Establishes a baseline college GPA
• Upgrades a student's admission type from freshman to transfer
• Qualifies students for an ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ academic scholarship

How to Participate

1. Confirm participation by completing the DAP sign-up form in your decision letter. This lets our office track your progress toward re-entry as a transfer student.
2. Gain admission to an accredited community college or university.
3. Complete a minimum of 12 hours of college-level core coursework with an overall college GPA of 2.25, free of any probationary or disciplinary conditions.
4. Send final college and high school transcripts (with graduation date included) to ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ for an admission decision and scholarship award.

Application Deadlines

Ready to become a Saint? ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ offers rolling admissions, so there's no single deadline standing between you and your acceptance letter. Applications are welcome year-round, and our deadlines are geared toward EARLY ACTION — a way to make sure you're first in line, not a race against the clock. Once your application is complete, we move fast, so you can hear back and start picturing yourself on campus.

Applying early by the deadlines below puts you first in line for the best financial aid packages, your pick of housing, top course registration slots, and your preferred orientation date — everything that helps your first semester feel like it was made for you.

Fall Semester 

• November 1 – Early Action Deadline
  Students who complete their application by November 1 will receive an admission decision on/around Thanksgiving.
• Students who apply after November 1 will receive a decision on a rolling basis.

Spring Semester

• September 1 – Early Action Deadline
• November 1 – Rolling Admission
• Students who apply after November 1 will receive a decision on a rolling basis.
